FAQ’s

Q. Is Freedom Guitar right for me?

Here’s a quick diagnostic to check if you’re ready:

  • You’re committed to meaningful progress over 3-6+ months

  • You can practice around 30-60 minutes at least 3x a week

  • You’re serious about soloing, improvising, and/or performing.

  • If you answered yes to all of those, you are ready for Freedom Guitar!

Q. I’m not an advanced guitarist. Is this right for me?

Absolutely! This is about commitment. Whether you’re a beginner building fundamentals or an intermediate player unlocking creativity, the key is readiness.

Q. What styles of guitar do you teach?

I work with students who want to play rock, acoustic, blues, funk, and fusion-inspired styles. As much as I enjoy finger styles like classical and flamenco, these styles are not in my speciality.

Q. When/where do coachings take place?

Coaching slots are available Monday-Thursday, and are conducted 0nline via Muzie.live, in person at my home studio in Southwest Raleigh, and I offer a limited number spots for In-Home where I can travel to you.

Q. Do I need to commit long-term?

Freedom Guitar is a month-to-month program, but it is not a short term fix. It’s built for guitar players who are committed to real, lasting growth (typically 6 months or longer) to develop their voice and deepen their skills. If you’re just looking for a one-off lesson, short term tips, or have goals that will take less than 3 months, this likely isn’t the right fit. But if you’re in it for real growth, I’d love to support you in your journey.

Q. What if I’m busy or travel often?

We’ll work together to find times that fit around your busy life. We have biweekly options for those who are have busier schedules, and you’ll have options for video submissions for when you can’t make your regular lesson time.

Q. How does pricing work?

Coaching rates start at $105/hour. All programs are personalized, and I offer both weekly and biweekly options depending on goals and availability.

Contact me at info@freedomguitarcoaching.com to inquire about package offerings.

Q. Do you work with kids and teens?

While I primarily coach professional adults, I occasionally work with teens (middle school and up) who show genuine commitment and passion for growth. These students are accepted by application only, and must be a great fit for my performance-based, creatively-driven coaching approach.

Q. I have another question?

Contact me via email at info@freedomguitarcoaching.com and I will get back to you, in most cases, within 24-48 hours.
